Cathedral Bluff Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) Concert Soloist Engagement:
Selected winner(s) of the festival will be invited to perform as soloist with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra with Maestro Martin MacDonald in a future concert in the CBSO’s regular concert series (www.cathedralbluffs.com)
- The CCCTIMF Grand Trophy winner(s) and the Concerto Class winners are automatically eligible to be considered for the concert soloist engagement. No registration is required.
- CBSO Artistic Director shall select one or more soloist(s) from the winner pool for concert soloist engagement.
- The selecting criteria may not be based on the marks of the winners but other criteria such as suitability of the repertoire for the CBSO’s concert season.
- If no soloists are selected from the current festival, the CCCTIMF organizing committee can recommend previous festival winners for the concerto performance engagement for the CBSO’s consideration in their concert season.
- CBSO Music Director’s decision is considered final.
