OUR STORY

A Proud History

Since its founding in 2010, the CCC Toronto International Music Festival — formerly the CCC Music Festival — has earned its place as one of Canada’s most reputable and celebrated music festivals. It is an annual signature event hosted by the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, a non-profit organisation with more than three decades of proud history serving the multicultural community and championing diversity.

What began as a single local celebration has grown into an internationally recognised platform that draws young musicians from across Canada and around the world

OUR MISSION

Celebrating Young Talent

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: every talented young musician deserves a stage worthy of their potential.

The CCC Toronto International Music Festival brings together emerging artists from around the world to perform, grow, and be heard. We provide world-class on-stage opportunities that push young musicians beyond their limits — helping them reach new heights, break through to new dimensions, and discover what they are truly capable of.

We believe music has the power to bridge cultures, inspire communities, and connect the world — and we are proud to be a part of every musician’s journey.

THE FESTIVAL TODAY

In-Person, Online, Everywhere

The CCCTIMF continues to grow — offering both a vibrant in-person experience in Toronto and a fully accessible online edition, so participants from every corner of the world can take part without the need to travel.

Our Master Class offers rare public coaching sessions with world-renowned performers in piano and strings, while the OMFA Provincial Qualifying Syllabus continues to connect participants to Ontario’s classical music community.

New for 2026:
We are proud to introduce Chinese Instrument syllabus for the first time — featuring Erhu, Guzheng, and Pipa — a milestone that celebrates the richness of our cultural roots and bridges musical traditions from East to West.

A standout opportunity remains for our festival grand trophy winner(s) and concerto class winners: the chance to be invited to perform as a soloist with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) in their regular concert series (https://cathedralbluffs.com/), a tradition that continues to elevate our event.

WITH GRATITUDE

Built On Community

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors and donors who share the same passion for nurturing young people and bringing up future leaders. Through their generosity, the festival awards over CAD $5,000 in scholarships and prizes each year — a meaningful recognition of the dedication and talent of our young musicians.

A sincere thank you also goes to our organizing committee for their tireless efforts in making every year’s festival a successful, inspiring, and deeply memorable event for all who take part.

We look forward to seeing you at the festival.

"Let music bridge the world!"
