About Us
Since its inception in 2010, the CCC Toronto International Music Festival (previously CCC Music Festival) has established a solid name as one of the most reputable and popular music festivals in Canada. It has been an annual signature event hosted by the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto – a non-profit organization with more than three decades of proud history serving the multicultural community and promoting diversity.
The festival is held in recognition of the artistic achievements of young musicians, providing them with the opportunity to learn, grow and showcase their potential in performance and pursuit of excellence. It seeks to provide performance opportunities for young musicians; to help bring the scope of their talents to new heights and break through to new dimensions.
Celebrating Young Talent
With the reopening of our Centre and concert venue in 2021, we had resumed the in-person music festival and we are also keeping the online version to allow participants from all countries around the world to take part in the festival without the need to travel. We have expanded our festival syllabus to include a wide range of repertoire, so participants have more options to get involved.
Ethereal Experience
New in this festival edition is the addition of the OMFA Provincial Qualifying classes to the piano syllabus. The Master Class category continues to enrich the piano and strings Festival Guide, providing advanced participants with public lessons from world-renowned concert pianists and violinists.
A standout opportunity remains for our festival grand trophy winner(s) and concerto class winners: the chance to be invited to perform as a soloist with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) in their regular concert series (https://cathedralbluffs.com/), a tradition that continues to elevate our event.
The in-person and online festival will be held in October 2025, with the winners’ Gala Concert and Awards Ceremony on December 14, 2025, at our 626-seat state-of-the-art P.C. Ho Theatre in Toronto, Canada. Select winners of the festival will be invited to the Gala Concert and Awards Ceremony with an opportunity to perform at P.C. Ho Theatre.
